What have been your moments of expansion (i.e., moments that have stretched you in ways that you could not have imagined). These moments may stretch you still or they may be distant and formative memories. These moments hold our life stories - they inspire our growth - and hold life's lessons. Intend to take in the positive lessons - they are here to propel you. ~Kathy~ (Let Eric Whitacre's "Sleep" inspire reflection, expansion and deep breaths - the text Robert Frost's poem, "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening.")

"Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know....

In this beautiful time-lapse photography, Louie Schwartzberg explores the beauty of pollination. Watch hummingbirds, bats and - yes - butterflies! I've been following Schwartzberg's work for many years now and he has some other beautiful works and several TED Talks on gratitude and pollination. I hope you enjoy the miracle of nature and the new beginnings that it invites. ~Kathy~

This has been my work/meditation jam for the last year. When I am creating, I find it helpful to listen to simple and divine music like this. I thank my son for putting this and other interesting minimalistic resources before me - hope you love it and find that it puts you in your zone where creation effortlessly flows - that place where wisdom prevents itself in the quiet space. Wishing you effortless creation. ~Kathy~ (Antico Adagio by Lino Capra Vaccina)

Beautiful footage and music – take a peaceful journey through the seasons as you think about the year ahead. What does this year hold for you? Where will you travel in your work, your relationships and other areas this year? The world is at our feet – if we can just imagine the future vision – put it into words – and then put it into action. One step at a time. One day at a time. Wishing you great success in all that you do. ~Kathy~ (Ola Gjeilo Performed by Tenebrae/Nigel Short)

Summer is a beautiful recalibration opportunity - as a mid-year check in point, it is good to re-examine goals, forgive self, reconnect with happiness, gratitude and purpose, and recommit to purposeful time spent with people, things and work you love. Let this music wash over you as you reconnect with the things and people that are most important to you. Move gently forward knowing that all is well and that you are loved. ~Kathy~ ("There will Be Rest" by Frank Ticheli and performed by Vox Humana)

There will be rest - and sure stars shining
Over the roof-tops, crowned with snow
A reign of rest, serene forgetting
The music...

Invite gentle mindlessness as you slowly breath in and out to the rhythm of this acoustical guitar music. I hope the meditative mood and text speaks to you: "The lights are all around you now. Feel your feet on the ground and your head slowing down as you breath in and you breath out. All is well." Find your rest. ~Kathy~ ("All is well" by Joe Fred)

Sending you so much joy right now - let this music ignite your inner spark. Do a jig if you want to - move your shoulders - smile - let your energy flow from the inside out. Wishing you wonderful energy and collaboration at work, at home and at play today.~Kathy~ (Live performance of "Attaboy" from Goat Rodeo Sessions with Chris Thile, Edgar Meyer, Stuart Duncan and Yo-Yo Ma)

As you listen, offer yourself thoughtful appreciation for where you are - all you have learned - all that you are in the process of moving to - you are a work of art - you are progress in motion. Make a list of all the things you are learning and the things you are striving to know more about. All is in process - your forward motion is inevitable. Peace. ~Kathy~ ("Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber)

Let the energy of the violin wrap around you in a warm embrace. Hear the sounds of fresh starts. Breathe for a moment - let your mind rest. Smile gently and find your hope for this moment. Find your rest. ~Kathy~ ("Lark Ascending" by Ralph Vaughan Williams - London Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Andrew Litton, Nicola Benedetti on the violin.)

Find your peace in simple things - a dog rolling in the grass - a butterfly fluttering around. "Dog and butterfly - up in the air she likes to fly - dog and butterfly - you know she had to try...." This is a song of wisdom that always makes me feel reconnected. Breathe, rest and float for a moment. It's the year of the butterfly. ~Kathy~ ("Dog and Butterfly" by Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart.)
