A Tribute to Betty Moore

Betty Moore passed away last week, surrounded by loved ones, blue skies, and sunshine. She was a woman of power and heart - a mother and grandmother. Her son Jimmy inspired her to co-found Tammy Lynn Center (TLC) which has served thousands of handicapped children and their families and thrives under its current leadership. My work with Tammy Lynn Center continues to change my life for the better. Thank you Betty Moore, and to the current leadership of Tammy Lynn Center, for your inspiration and strength. Although I never met Betty Moore, she speaks for all of us who are called to serve. She and her husband had a shared motto to focus each day: "Keep your chin up and keep smiling."
