On Purpose

Each of us is here for a reason – it does not matter WHAT we do. What matters is THAT we do.

As I was checking out at the grocery store today, the grocery store clerk put this in perfect perspective.

The clerk applied a $15 coupon to my order even though my order did not match the minimum amount stated on the coupon. I was so surprised and pleased that my order totaled less than I expected. I felt like I had won the lottery and was genuinely pleased when I said, “Thank you – you have really made my day.”

He replied, “That’s what I’m here for.”

And so it is….
